    Hey / Hi {{first_name}},

On May 7th in NYC, we're bringing together 20+ enterprise marketing decision makers from brands like American Express, Morgan Stanley and Disney at the 5* Langham Hotel for an evening of guaranteed 1:1 business meetings with each confirmed attendee (full list below).

Straight in, no fluff. The first sentence stacks concise social proof: a date, a venue, three named brands. "Guaranteed" and "confirmed" do quiet work here, stripping out perceived risk before it forms.

All of these attendees are currently evaluating tech & marketing solutions so we're offering {{company_name}} an exclusive sponsorship opportunity to attend (2 passes remain).

Relevance that speaks for itself: "all of these attendees are currently evaluating X, so..." One line that personalises and justifies the offer, then scarcity lands in the same breath. 2 passes remain.

Let's discuss further on a 15-minute call this week, does tomorrow morning or afternoon work for you?

Either/or CTA. Two options, both lead to a booked call. Once the lines above have done their job, you control what the question in their mind is: not "should I reply?" but "morning or afternoon?"

What happened when they said no

    The "not interested" response template

Turned 5+ no's into booked calls on the same campaign

    Hi [NAME],

No worries — for context, I reached out originally as all our attendees have submitted their current challenges & interests in terms of reasons for coming to the event and there's a lot of alignment with what you guys do regarding [XYZ].

Zero defensiveness. "No worries" releases the pressure, then the context reframe hands them a reason the first email undersold: this outreach was researched, not sprayed. The no was aimed at a cold pitch that no longer exists.

Up to you if you'd like to run through the details & see if there's a fit.

Detached close. "Up to you" hands control back, and pursuing someone who just declined is the fastest way to confirm their no. Removing the pressure is what reopens the door.

    Best,

    Louis
